The Academy in Long Beach presented a showcase of local musical talent called "Party Weirdo" on Saturday night. More than a dozen bands, including Dead Meadow, Gangi, 60 Watt Kid and the Lumerians weaved a psychedilic web of sound in the subterranean dungeon known at the Basement. Who says all day festivals are only for the Summer?
