Broadway was pretty in pink on Sunday, June 19th, as local businesses celebrated Barbie's 50th Anniversary with "Barbie on Broadway". Most of the shops between Redondo and Loma had specials and activities based on the Barbie theme including:

Barbie manicures and pedicures at Kreme de la Kreme Nail Lounge
Glamour Girl Headband Workshop at The Kids Are Alright
Barbie art show at DDR Project art gallery
There was even a special Barbie-cue chicken sandwich at Olives gourmet grocer
